A shark-folk moon sorcerer mid-performance under a crescent moon, peace signs out, blue scales catching the stage light, yellow eyes too bright for the rest of her face. Red clothes against the blue sharkskin, teeth a beat too sharp for the smile. The brief from the table called her "sailor moon with teeth," which is the kind of note that does a lot of the design work before you even open the canvas.
Mira plays her in D&D 5e as a manic-pixie front with a quieter sadness underneath. Her party found Coral exiled in another province, still performing every night because the only thing worse than the grief is sitting still with it. The art had to hold both readings at once, the perky stage presence and the thing behind the eyes, without letting either flatten the other.
