commissioned by Bram H.
A full-body fantasy rogue mid-sprint down a back alley, skirts gathered in both fists, pink mohawk catching the lantern light. The brief opened with a line from the table: "there is no question when the old lady lifts her skirts she can run." That sentence did most of the design work. Everything else came out of holding the energy of an older woman with bad knees and worse intentions moving faster than she has any right to.
Bram played her as a D&D character whose joke kept paying off, and the art had to land the joke without flattening the danger. Two lineart passes locked the silhouette of the sprint, then the alley dropped in behind her with the lighting kept low so the mohawk and the lifted hem read first.
