A full-body fantasy swordsman built from a sparse brief and a thick stack of mood boards. Palmer reads as a wandering blade with quiet menace, the kind of character a party picks up in a tavern and learns to fear by the third session. The reference pack carried most of the design weight, leaving the pose and framing for us to dial in until he held his own ground in the composition.
Jordan came in with two sentences and a folder of pictures, which is honestly a comfortable way to work for D&D party portraits. We ran the clean linear pipeline on this one. Sketch first, base color second, render third, final pass last, with a check-in at every stage so nothing surprised him on delivery.
