commissioned by Mira O.
A multi-pose reference sheet for a small, wiry high elf in well-worn drab armor and a patchwork fur cloak topped by a bear-head hood. The long bear-claw scar runs from her ear down to the cleft of her chin, with smaller scars peppering her forearms. The crude hand-painted symbol of Malar sits flat on the chest plate, deliberately ugly, deliberately personal.
Mira's brief for her D&D 5e ranger was almost a character sheet on its own: 5'0", under a hundred pounds, smudged with dirt, kind of greasy, the look of someone who has spent every year of her life outside. The reference sheet format meant building her front and back, working out how the fur cloak sat across the shoulders from each angle, and keeping the scar pattern consistent across views. The bear-claw scar was the one detail that had to read correctly in every pose.
